Currently, Little Rock School District lesson study teams are divided into two categories:

1. MSP-SPONSORED LESSON STUDY TEAMS
Members of these teams participated in math content training sessions as a part of a Math/Science Partnership grant with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. These teachers are using lesson study as a way to further study how to best teach these same concepts to their students.

2. SCHOOL/TEACHER-SPONSORED LESSON STUDY TEAMS
Members of these teams use lesson study to develop understanding of how their students best learn challenging mathematical concepts. Coordinators of the groups are various math coaches and informal teacher leaders.
